| VOIGHT BLASTS ANGELINA JOLIE / BRAD PITT SPLIT RUMOURS - New Kerala Posted: 29 Jan 2010 06:26 AM PST ANGELINA JOLIE's estranged father JON VOIGHT has shot down rumours the actress has split from BRAD PITT, dismissing the tabloid gossip as "nonsense".
Gossip about the status of the Hollywood supercouple's romance reached fever pitch last week (ends22Jan10), with reports claiming the stars - who share six children - were set to part ways. But Voight, who has had a rocky relationship with his famous daughter, insists Jolie and Pitt are still going strong after five years of dating, reports Hollyscoop.com. When asked about the split rumours, he says, "Nonsense. It's all made up stuff." Jolie and Pitt met on the set of their film Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005, while the actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston. The Friends star filed for divorce in March 2005 and the couple embarked on a relationship shortly afterwards. The stars have three adopted children together - Maddox, eight; Pax, six, and Zahara, five - as well as biological kids Shiloh, three, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 18 months. --IANS-WENN

The Oscar-winning actor - who has a notoriously difficult relationship with Angelina - insists the couple are staying together and there is no truth in the recent claims suggesting otherwise. When quizzed about the break-up rumours, Jon replied: "Nonsense. It's all made up stuff." At the weekend, it was claimed Brad and Angelina - who raise six children together - were set to separate after signing legal papers which equally split their $330 million fortune and custody of the kids. However, sources say that while the couple - who have been dating for five years - did sign the papers, they only did so as a precaution. One source told Life and Style magazine: "Brad and Angelina had a meeting with a top law firm in Los Angeles in December, where they worked out terms of a legal document similar to a pre-nup. The couple signed the document in early January. They agreed to share their money and assets and custody of their six children, all of whom would live with Angelina in the event of their parents' break-up." Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:10 PM PST It's been Brad Pitt this and brad Pitt that, Angelina this and Angelina that for the past couple of weeks and seriously speaking I wish I was never into writing articles. It's getting into my nerves to see websites scribbling down each and every minute detail of incidents about the couple and turning it against them by hook or by crook. Linking one incident with another just to prove that they are not in good terms is so irritating. For example TMZ helped erase doubts of one such over exaggerated incident. My head was blown off with rumors of Brad buying a new bachelors pad with a built in cave or something so that he can stay away from Angelina. Sources told the funny websites this and that, blahs here and blahs there. TMZ, one amongst very few websites who do some actual research and have some genuine sources reports that the pad was bought by Brad in August which is long before rumors of a break up began to make the rounds. Located in the Hollywood Hills, Brad could not move into the house because the place was a dump. TMZ states Brad did not by the house to get away from Angelina; in fact it was his plan to expand the already massive compound he shares with Angelina and their children. He is just buying properties all around his house in an attempt to join them all together into a mammoth estate. But these filthy blood sucking reporters turned the incident inside out and portrayed a completely different story. The stories always come from some sources. The word "sources" is a life saver for the new upcoming websites who tend to spread fake rumors like these because that's the only word which saves them from getting spanked in their behinds for incorrect news. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie infamously began hooking up while the two were shooting the movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" five years ago. At the time, Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Now, Brad and Angelina have reportedly signed papers making way for a legal separation with joint custody of their six children. It is said that the two have agreed that the children will live with Angelina. Brad and Angie are not married, and have always said that they would only get married when it was legal for American homosexuals to marry each other. Unnamed sources revealed to the News of the World that despite not being married, the two filed documents with a Los Angeles lawyer earlier this month to help smooth a separation. According to sources, Pitt and Jolie will each keep all of the money they have earned. Forbes estimates this at more than $100 million each. Brad, 46, will also get full access to their three biological children - Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, and their three adopted children - Maddox, Zahara, and Pax. All of the six children bear the surname "Jolie-Pitt". According to NOTW, Beverly Hills based lawyers have made way for an announcement about the state of Brad and Angie's relationship. They had been the subject of many rumors for more than a year now. Most recently, the National Enquirer ran a story which talked about an explosive fight they had on January 6 at the New York restaurant Alto. It has been claimed that Pitt staged the dinner as an intervention to try to get Jolie, 34, to get psychiatric help. She has reportedly suffered from depression since her mother died of ovarian cancer three years ago. Since her mother's death, Jolie's weight has dropped dramatically. It is also said that she attempted suicide. Meanwhile, while Brad was busy agreeing to separation paper with Angelina, he was once again getting cozy with his ex, Jennifer Aniston.
