Angelina Jolie cannot help herself. This is just what she does.

Being a world-famous actress and raising a half dozen kids isn't enough. She spends remarkable amounts of time and money trying to make the world a better place.

Today's example of her good deeds? The UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador started up a school for refugee returnees, mostly from Pakistan, in Tangi, Afghanistan.

Having visited there in 2008, Angelina Holie learned from the displaced people about their concerns about a lack of educational facilities in the war-torn area.

So, according to the UNHCR website, the star donated over $75,000 to get an all-girls school up and running. The building will be inaugurated on Thursday.

As she exhibited recently in Haiti, Angelina Jolie is awesome.

Angelina Jolie is a true ambassador of our nation, and humanity.

Classes start Monday at the school, which boasts eight classrooms, four administrative buildings, a well and eight latrines, and can accommodate up to 800 students.

The UNHCR is working with UNICEF to recruit teachers and books. Plans are also under way to offer secondary education, as only two Tangi girls are currently enrolled.

We're guessing that if asked, or even if not, we know someone who might volunteer her resources, financial or otherwise. Talk about using your celebrity admirably.

Continuing work on their new film "The Tourist," Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp were spotted out in Venice, Italy earlier today (March 16).

The "Changeling" chick and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" hunk could be seen shooting scenes along Venice's Grand Canal, both enjoying themselves.

And according to the new book "Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie: The True Story," Ang's voluptuous lips are the real deal, and not the result of plastic surgery.

However, author Jenny Paul alleges that Jolie has had some work done, including a nose job and some laser eye surgery.

Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie was spotted with the ultra sexy Johnny Depp in Venice, the city of gondolas yesterday (March 16) near the famed Grand Canal.

While most lovebirds flock to the beautiful city of Venice to soak in some of the unique romance and old-world charm, these two megawatt Hollywood veterans have been busy continually filming for Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's upcoming thriller The Tourist which is slated to release sometime next year.

The sultry siren plays the role of a seductive and manipulative Interpol agent Cara Mason who sleeps with an unsuspecting American tourist, Frank Taylor played by quirky actor Depp to flush out a criminal she was intimate with previously.

The Lara Croft beauty has been accompanied by the entire Brangelina brood comprising of longtime beau Brad Pitt and her six children. While Brad Pitt came halfway across the world to keep an eye on his love who is starring alongside one of the sexiest men alive (Johnny Depp), the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor's French girlfriend Paradis has reportedly asked him to find another project when she discovered that the movie had some explicit steamy shower scenes. After all, Jolie is somewhat known for her penchant for romancing married or otherwise, engaged men.

Robert Downey Jr. may defy 'Gravity' in 3-D - HitFix

Angelina Jolie may have missed out on her chance to star with none other than Robert Downey, Jr. The "Wanted" star was attached to Alfonso Cuaron's Sci-Fi thriller "Gravity" for some time, but left the project after Universal Pictures decided to jettison it. Now, the film is at Warner Bros. without Jolie and the studio is recruiting its "Sherlock Holmes" star to join the "Children of Men" director in space.

According to Deadline.com, the story centers on the crew members of a remote space station who face peril when almost the entire team is killed by debris from an exploding satellite. This leaves the crew leader (Downey, Jr.) and a female crew member (currently not cast) stranded together until help arrives. No word yet on who Cuaron or Warner Bros. is considering for the picture's female lead.

Cuaron will shoot "Gravity" in 3-D, a first for both the filmmaker and Downey, Jr. Production should begin this summer in London. Downey, Jr., whose "Iron Man 2" hits theaters in less than two months, will then segue to a "Sherlock Holmes" sequel which will begin filming in the UK immediately after "Gravity" wraps.
