Bloggers have been abuzz ever since new photos of Angelina Jolie in Venice, Italy show two mysterious muscles protruding between the right side of the actress' neck and chin.

While some believe the photo to be doctored, others have consulted multiple plastic surgeons for an explanation.

Dr. Elie Levine, who has not treated Jolie, told Usmagazine.com he believes the actress "received Botox to her face and likely her neck," which paralyzes facial muscle and causes one to compensate and "recruit other muscles that are not regularly used."

To prove the validity of the photo, the magazine dug up an image of Jolie from the BAFTA awards in Feb. 2009, in which she sports the same facial protrusions.

According to Beverly hills-based Dr. Gabriel Chiu, the 34-year-old actress' bizarre muscles may be the result of a "minimally invasive procedure" such as Gore-Tex, an injection that lifts and suspends the "tissues in her neck, jaw line and lower face."

On the other hand, Dr. Lyle M. Back told Us he believes Jolie's neck protrusions are the result of "very thinned out skin tented and pulled over the edge of the angle of her jaw." Noting the actress' slender physique, he says this is natural for a woman with less than 10 perfect body fat.

ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt are staging their family photo ops in Venice "like a military operation" in a bid to dampen rumors their romance is on the rocks.

The couple — who with their six kids are in Italy while Jolie films The Tourist with Johnny Depp — are keen to show the world they're still together.

"They are usually very shy about being photo graphed, but now they're making a point of being seen in public as a happy family unit," a source told the New York Post newspaper.

"They're making a statement. They want the world to know the reports are wrong and they are strong."

Earlier this week, the Jolie-Pitt clan moved into a 16th century palace called Palazzo Mocenigo.

Angelina is expected to stay in their new digs for three month while The Tourist films in both Venice and Prague.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with along with their six children have moved to Venice where Jolie will start filming her new movie 'The Tourist'.

Apart from the scenic places and architectures, the celebrated couple's presence in the city is going to be another tourist attraction.

The Brangelina clan arrived at Marco Polo airport on Monday from where they took two speed boats to the luxurious canal-side Palazzo, which is located between the Rialto and Accademia parts of the city.

Jolie is going to get busy on the sets from March 15 so the couple is utilizing their free time by taking a tour of the city with their children. They took their four oldest children Shiloh, Zahara, Maddox and Pax for an ice treat on Tuesday. Jolie dressed all the four kids in warm jackets and hats to protect them from cold weather, three year old Shiloh was wearing a money hat with oversized ears.After the ice cream treat the couple stopped at a store to buy some drinks.

Brangelina's visit to Venice is another high profile trip; the couple is always on a move. They have stayed in Cambodia, France, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles.

The couple has recently sued a British Tabloid which has reported that the pair is heading for a split.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are already parents to three adopted children – but is the Hollywood power couple planning to adopt from Haiti?

"I'm always open to children around the world. We're that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that," Angelina said in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour, who asked the actress if she was planning to adopt from the earthquake ravaged country.

Though she and Brad are open to the idea – the actress said that was not the focus of her three-day trip to Haiti.

"But that's not what we're focusing on at this time, by any means," she continued. "We're not here for that. We're here to see how we can help protect the children in the country and scale up the needs here."

Angelina said adopting should not currently be anyone's focus when it comes to the children of Haiti.

"For somebody who is an adoptive parent, I understand the urge to assist in that way," she said in the CNN interview airing this weekend. "Now is not the time, an emergency is not the time for new adoptions in any way."

The couple's three adopted children consist of son Maddox from Cambodia, daughter Zahara from Ethiopia and son Pax from Vietnam. Angelina and Brad also have three biological kids together, daughter Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox.
