Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are moving to Venice for three months.

The Hollywood couple and their six children - Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, five, Shiloh, three, and 19-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox - arrived in the Italian canal city yesterday (16.02.10) and intend to stay there while Angelina films her new movie 'The Tourist'.

The family - who have homes in Los Angeles, France and New Orleans - are renting out the stunning canal side Palazzo, which is situated between the Rialto and Accademia parts of the city and faces San Toma.

After arriving in a private plane at Marco Polo Airport the Jolie-Pitt clan took two speedboats - one for their luggage and another for the family - to their new home.

Angelina - who begins filming on March 15 - has previously spoken about the family's jet-setting lifestyle.

She said: "It's hard, and maybe one day we'll have to stay in one place. I'm sure the kids are going to be 18 and say, "God, I just want to stay in one place." They'll never want to leave home."

The couple recently denied reports their five-year relationship was in trouble. (c) BANG

Putting rumors of an imminent split behind them, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, accompanied by their children, have been spotted in Venice, Italy, where they're to remain for the next three months. As per ongoing reports cited by USA Today, the couple has decided to relocate to Venice while Jolie pursues work interests there, this being the best way to be together while also focusing on their career.

As Jolie herself put it in several older interviews, though they usually put their family first, neither she nor Pitt is about to forget about acting. The method they came up with instead to keep everybody happy is to never work at the same time: that is to say, while one is on the movie set, the other must be out of a contract and at home with the family. This time around, it's Brad's turn to mind the children, it would seem.

No official announcement as to the length of their stay there has been made, but reports say shooting should not take longer than 3 months.

Though plagued by rumors that their relationship is breathing its last breaths, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still going strong, which in itself should be more than enough to put gossip to rest. In a recent interview with CNN, the actress, speaking from Haiti, said that while she and Brad were constantly talking about adopting another baby, the next adoption would not be from Haiti.
