Earlier, Grazia magazine reported that Pitt met his ex during a trip to New York last month to talk about his problems with current partner Angelina Jolie, 34, whom he hooked up with after walking out on the Friends actress. The magazine claimed Aniston, 40, was reluctant to meet Pitt but eventually agreed to go to his suite in the Essex House hotel next to Central Park. 'She arrived at his hotel suite a matter of hours after they had spoken. Brad was unloading his emotional baggage on Jen, which isn't exactly fair considering their history,' Grazia quoted a source as saying. 'She was quick to tell him she wanted no part in his break-up with Angelina. Aniston was brutally honest with Brad during their exchange, which took place the Friday before last, telling him he was being selfish and had to figure things out on his own,' the source added. After the alleged meeting 45-year-old Pitt flew back to France, where he shares a £35million chateau with Jolie and their six children - Maddox, seven, Pax, five, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and one-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. It comes amid claims the glamour couple's four-year relationship is under growing strain. Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is said to have had a secret meeting with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston to discuss his relationship with partner Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Aniston, who ended their five-year marriage in 2005, met up at a hotel in New York for an hour where the 45-year-old actor unloaded his emotional baggage, Grazia magazine reported. The Hollywood star allegedly told Aniston about his relationship problems with Jolie, who he hooked up with after divorcing the 'Friends' actress. A source told the magazine that Pitt got his mother Jane - who is still close to Aniston - to persuade her to meet with him and give some advice. "She arrived at his hotel suite a matter of hours after they had spoken. Brad was unloading his emotional baggage on Jen, which isn't exactly fair considering their history," the source said.

Aniston was apparently brutally honest with Pitt during their exchange telling him he was being selfish and had to figure things out on his own. The secret meeting comes amid reports that Pitt and Aniston are in regular phone contact and their latest encounter marks their second private meeting together in the Big Apple earlier this year. It has been claimed that Hollywood heartthrob's four-year relationship with Jolie has hit the rocks. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stepped out together in Amman, Jordan to treat their 14-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne to ice cream. The couple stopped at Lick Licious ice cream shop where Pitt shared his pecan, caramel and vanilla ice cream with Vivienne, and Jolie shared her mango ice cream with Knox. "They were walking down the street and saw out shop. Brad stopped and said, 'Do you guys have ice cream? I said 'Are you kidding? Of course!'" Ihab Fakhouri, a co-owner of the shop, tells People magazine. "The kids look so much like Angelina. They look like their mother. But they have Brad's eyes. They looked like really happy kids," he adds. Fakhouri snapped a photo of Jolie, Pitt and the twins and posted it on Twitter. The couple is urging the international community not to forget the plight of the refugees.
"Most Iraqi refugees cannot return to Iraq in view of the severe trauma they experienced there, the uncertainty linked to the coming Iraqi elections, the security issues and the lack of basic services," said Jolie. "They will, therefore, be in need of continued support from the international community."
During their emotional visit, Jolie and Pitt visited Iraqi refugees in the poorest suburbs of the Syrian capital. The couple was welcomed into the homes of two Iraqi families in the Jaramana district of Damascus.

"Jen's perspective is that it's better to have two or three glasses of red wine than to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep," says a source. "The other day, she was tipsy and ranting at friends about Angelina Jolie, which they see as an unhealthy obsession of Jen's. "She's still bitterly competitive with Angelina and it's the subject that'll come up time and time again after she's had a few."
