Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston love triangle feels ... - New York Daily News Posted: 06 Oct 2009 07:55 AM PDT Tuesday, October 6th 2009, 12:15 AM Carrie Fisher airs some serious dirty laundry in her new one-woman show, "Wishful Drinking" - and it isn't just her own. The artist formerly known as Princess Leia even sifts through Brad Pitt's hamper, suggesting that his public love triangle with Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie is the modern-day equivalent of her dad, Eddie Fisher, leaving mom Debbie Reynolds for raven-haired temptress Elizabeth Taylor. But Fisher was careful not to talk trash behind Pitt's muscled back - she ran the barb by him first. "This is exactly what your situation is like!" she told the hunky actor, who gave his okay to the line. Aniston, who caught the show in previews, didn't seem to mind, either. "She's a very nice girl. I didn't speak to her, but I heard that she liked it," Fisher told us. "At least, I hope she liked it." And although Fisher escaped the ire of Hollywood's former power couple, other celebs may not take her sideswipes with such good humor. Fisher even gets in a dig at her own mother, although that's fairly normal, given their notoriously tumultuous relationship. "My mother is a movie star," she said onstage. "She's like an icon. A gay icon, but you take your iconic statuary where you can get it. It's like being a pseudointellectual is better than not being an intellectual at all." Fisher also slams George W. Bush, claiming she would rather have spent more time in a mental hospital for alcoholism than hang with the former Prez. "It's sort of like the last time I was invited to Bush's White House, only I met a better class of people in the mental hospital," she deadpanned. Despite the barbs, the actress insists she didn't write the play to offend and was more than happy to remove anything potentially harmful. The proof: She axed anecdotes about ex-husband Paul Simon and "Shampoo" co-star Warren Beatty at their requests. "Anything that had to do with anyone else, I made sure that I went to them and cleared it with them," she said. But for a 90-minute autobiographical show, you must take jabs at yourself, and Fisher does. She calls herself a dead ringer for Elton John and says she turned her second husband, Bryan Lourd, gay. She adds, "Yes, I'm a bitch." Clearly her friends don't agree: Jane Fonda, Salman Rushdie, Harvey Keitel and Patti LuPone all turned up to fete their verbose pal at Amalia in midtown after Sunday's show. - Mon Dieu! Grace Coddington was in for more than just culture shock after leaving Givenchy's Paris show on Sunday. When the Vogue creative director returned to her chauffeured car after viewing the label's Spring 2010 collection, she discovered her purse had been stolen. An insider says that the presumably expensive bag was swiped while Coddington's driver snoozed. - Even Upper East Side queen Blair Waldorf would deign to take the downtown 6 train if a Lady Gaga gig was the reward. The "It" singer is filming an upcoming episode of "Gossip Girl" Tuesday on the lower East Side, in which she'll perform as herself, natch. Gaga will be joining the ranks of fellow celebrity guest stars Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff, who will also be making cameos on the hit CW show this season. Angelina Jolie - San Francisco Chronicle Posted: 05 Oct 2009 07:49 AM PDT Jolie In Awe Of Iraqi RefugeesAFP PHOTO/UNHCR /B. Heger-POOL UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie laughs with an internally displaced Iraqi boy at a makeshift camp northwest of Baghdad, on July 23. Jolie was on a one-day mission to Iraq to bring attention to the plight of displaced people in the region. Angelina Jolie has been left awestruck by the strength of the thousands of displaced citizens in war-torn Iraq after paying her third visit to the country on Thursday on behalf of the United Nations. The Hollywood actress, a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, met with four families who had been forced to relocate from their home in the district of Abu Ghraib to the west of Baghdad. The locals spoke to mother-of-six Jolie about the hardships they faced and their struggle to cover medical costs for various illnesses, according to the U.N. Refugee Agency. After hearing about one man's fight to raise his family in the tough conditions, the star said, "It takes a lot of strength for you to survive this life. I don't know if I would be strong enough to survive this." Jolie observed some changes in conditions since her last visit, but admitted a lot still needed to be done before the refugees could return to normality. She noted, "There are some changes. There are returns of displaced people, not a big number, but there is progress. This is a moment where things seem to be improving on the ground, but Iraqis need a lot of support and help to rebuild their lives." Jolie has vowed to return to do all she can to help refugees rebuild their lives, telling the families, "I want to come back and find you in a better place and in a different situation. We hope that UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and the government will support you in getting a piece of land. You need help not because you are poor, but because you are the future of Iraq." The star's trip to the Middle East began on Tuesday when she flew in with her 7-year-old son, Maddox, to attend the Arab Children's Congress in Amman, Jordan, where she was a guest of honor. Brad Pitt 'in secret hotel meeting with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston' - Daily Mail Posted: 07 Oct 2009 01:44 PM PDT By Daily Mail Reporter
Brad Pitt is said to have held a secret meeting with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston during a recent trip to New York. The pair, who ended their five-year marriage in 2005, met up at a hotel in the city for an hour where Brad unloaded his emotional baggage, according to Grazia magazine. The Hollywood star allegedly told Aniston about his relationship problems with Angelina Jolie, whom he hooked up with after walking out on the Friends actress. Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston are said to have had a secret meeting recently at a New York hotel where he talked about his relationship problems It comes amid reports that Brad and Jennifer are in regular phone contact and - if true - their latest encounter marks their second private meeting together in the Big Apple this year. A source told Grazia that Jennifer agreed to visit Brad in his suite at the Essex House hotel, next to Central Park. 'She arrived at his hotel suite a matter of hours after they had spoken. Brad was unloading his emotional baggage on Jen, which isn't exactly fair considering their history.' Brad and partner Angelina Jolie put on a united front while shopping in France with children Zahara and Shiloh on Sunday But the source added: 'She was quick to tell him she wanted no part in his break-up with Angelina.' At first she was reported to be reluctant to meet with her former husband. But the magazine alleges Brad got his mother Jane - who is famously still close to Jen - to persuade her to meet with him and give some advice. It comes amid claims that his four-year relationship with Angelina has hit the rocks. Former U.S. president Bill Clinton and Brad at a political conference the day before his alleged meeting with Aniston The Essex House hotel were Brad and Jen are said to have met up Brad lives with Jolie at their 35million Chateau Miraval home with their six children, Maddox, seven, Pax, five, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and one-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Aniston was apparently brutally honest with Brad during their exchange, which took place the Friday before last, telling him he was being selfish and had to figure things out on his own. Later that day Brad flew back to France with son Maddox. Grazia reported that Angelina is keen to work out their problems, but as far as Brad is concerned it is 'all but over'. Some reports suggest he is planning a move to Berlin, away from his family home, where he has friends and can spend time indulging in the city's architecture. His reported meet-up with Jen came the day after he attended a political conference with former U.S. president Bill Clinton in New York on September 24.

Angelina Jolie ‘Riles Jennifer Aniston With Baby Snaps’ - Showbizspy.com Posted: 13 Oct 2009 07:03 AM PDT THIS is the photo that made Jennifer Aniston feel like she's been "stabbed in the heart".
The picture apparently riled Aniston — who divorced Pitt in 2005 after five years of marriage — because she thinks Jolie is trying to rub her nose in the fact she still hasn't managed to conceive.
"So, in Jen's mind, her decision to show off the kids in such a public way was probably done deliberately to make her jealous. "To her, it looked like Angie could have been twisting the knife in by flaunting the kids in her face." The source added that the unlucky-in-love actress is "in a pretty sensitive state right now — she's trying desperately to put the past behind her and get into a positive frame of mind as she moves on with her life. "It's bad enough that she has to see Brad and Angelina together, but something about these photos really set her off. "It seemed as though Angie was going out of her way to show people that not only are she and Brad back together again, but she's got this amazing family that Jen will never have. "Maybe Jen was taking things a little too personally, but after all the pain she's suffered over the years, she can hardly be blamed for having this type of reaction. "She wants to forget about Brad so badly, but seeing him with Angelina and their kids so openly stirred up an emotional reaction for Jen." This content has passed through fivefilters.org. |

For a couple seemingly on the verge of breaking up, they always seem to be happy and relaxed with each other in pictures together.
What couple with 6 children and busy lives wouldn't occassionally have difficulties? Regular couples have them enough. This is not news.
Also, Lioness, when was the last time you saw Aniston spending her free time visiting less fortunate countries and helping to raise awareness instead of whining about being single or donating large chunks of her millions to help others? Right.
